Before you start
- Use Windows supported by HP’s current exact-model download offering.
- Printer and computer on the same intended network; administrator installation access where required.
Get the printer and PC onto the same network
Use the related Wi-Fi Setup Wizard guide for the touchscreen connection. Disconnect Ethernet before choosing Wi-Fi, enter your own router password and confirm connection. Your Windows computer must be able to reach the printer on that same network.
The video starts with this router setup. A network connection is a prerequisite for its wireless software-discovery route, not proof that Windows printing or scanning is already installed.
Step 1:Get the software from HP for the actual model
Use HP’s official setup or exact-model software page, select the model printed on your device and your Windows version, then download the offered setup package. The source uses the HP LaserJet 3300 setup portal supplied by the printer; follow HP’s current redirects and model selection.
Run that genuine HP installer and read its prompts. Optional usage-data choices are separate from permission to install the software.
Step 2:Discover the printer and finish the needed components
Let the installer search the network, select the intended printer and continue. Choose the offered print, scan or fax components you actually intend to use. Wait for installation to finish rather than assuming printer discovery completed every component.
The presenter already has some software installed, so those component screens are described rather than demonstrated as a completely fresh installation. If discovery fails, check the network and the actual error before restarting or reinstalling repeatedly.
Step 3:Add the printer in the genuine HP app
Follow HP’s official app download path or verify HP as the publisher in the Microsoft Store. Open the app, complete the relevant access prompts and use Add printer or its plus control. Choose the discovered printer and wait for its dashboard.
The video chooses Continue as guest where offered. Account and permission requirements can differ by current platform and feature; do not assume every operation is available without a sign-in.
Step 4:Check a print and a saved scan separately
Open a document, choose this printer and match the paper size/type to the loaded tray. Send a small print and inspect it. If you installed scanning, scan a page, save it to a chosen location and open the resulting file.
The recording ends at the connected dashboard. It does not demonstrate a completed test print or saved scan, so those are checks for your installation rather than claimed source results.
