A little preparation

Before you start

  • A configured Windows Canon driver, a two-page document and supported plain paper for an initial proof sheet.

Prepare a short document and plain paper

Use a working Windows printer connection and the Canon printer driver. Start with a two-page document and one suitable sheet so you can verify page orientation before a longer run. TS3750i uses manual two-sided printing; a two-sided option does not mean it turns the paper over for you.

Load supported plain paper in portrait orientation, printable side facing you, at the right of the rear tray. Fit the guide gently, extend the output tray and confirm the loaded size with Paper Select and OK. Match that size in the document and driver.

Step 1:Enable the driver’s manual duplex option

Open the document’s Print dialog and select the correct Canon printer. Open its printer properties or preferences. In Canon’s Page Setup tab, enable Duplex Printing (Manual), select the intended layout and check the Stapling Side so the pages open the way you expect. Adjust the margin if needed and confirm the settings.

The source reaches a two-sided checkbox through its PDF application. If your app presents different controls, use the documented Canon driver settings rather than assuming every app or photo uses the same dialog.

Step 2:Print the first side and follow the reload prompt

Start the print and wait until the first side finishes and the reload message appears. Read that message’s sheet-orientation and stack instructions before moving the paper. Preserve the order shown for your selected binding and layout.

In this recording, the prompt tells the presenter to turn the sheet over along its long side, keep the stack facing the same way and put it back in the rear tray. That is the shown job’s instruction, not a universal leading-edge rule for every layout. Use the actual message displayed for your job.

Step 3:Press OK and inspect both sides

After correctly reloading, press OK on the printer to print the opposite side. Wait until it finishes, then check both sides for the intended pages and matching reading orientation before repeating the process for more sheets.

The presenter reports a completed two-sided page. This guide does not claim an independently timed or physically inspected print test.

If manual duplex is unavailable

Canon’s driver disables this option when Media Type is not Plain Paper. It is also unavailable with Borderless, Tiling/Poster or Booklet layouts. Use an eligible combination instead of forcing duplex on unsupported photo media.

This page covers driver-assisted printing. It does not imply automatic duplex scanning or copying, or supply an unverified sheet orientation for a different standalone-copy workflow.
