Step 1:Open Jobs on the touchscreen

With the printer on, start from its Home screen. Swipe across the available functions until you reach Jobs, then open it. The recording shows job groups for in-progress, upcoming and history.

Step 2:Choose the job you want to stop

Open the active job you intend to cancel. Check its details so you do not stop another user’s work. A completed entry in History is not a new job waiting to print.

Step 3:Cancel and confirm

Touch Cancel for the selected job, then confirm Yes when prompted. The source sends a job specifically to demonstrate this confirmation. Cancellation is a request to stop that job; sheets already printed cannot be recalled.

Check the job state before resending

Return to the job list and check that the selected job is no longer progressing. HP notes that control-panel cancellation does not automatically cancel other pending jobs. If another copy arrives, also check the computer or app that sent it; cancel the correct queued item there before deliberately resending.
